We are firmly convinced that we our vineyards are home to the most precious treasure possible; we therefore cherish them and cultivate them lovingly. Because the quality of the wines is produced exclusively in the vineyard – in the cellar we then try to preserve the quality given to us by nature with as little intervention as possible.
For this reason we equipped our cellar facilities with modern, advanced technology in 2016, which allows us to process the grapes as gently as possible. Force of gravity, without unnecessary pumping, a gentle pressing as well as the temperature-controlled fermentation are just as much a part of this as is the subsequent maturation on the fine lees in large and small wooden casks or stainless steel tanks, depending on the type of wine. The grapes are fundamentally grown and processed in an environmentally friendly and sustainable fashion. And we place great importance on authenticity – the characteristics of terroir and the individual grape variety stand in the foreground.
